Jennifer Holder

Jennifer Holder is the author of the Queen Bee Series, a collection of historical fiction novels set in the turbulent years surrounding the American Civil War. Her debut novel, A Page Apart, introduced readers to Annabelle Manning — a young Southern woman navigating a world with expectations that are on the brink of change. Our Sealed Letters, the second book, explores what happens when we try to live by our own rules. The prequel short story Marigold, the Treasure, is about her parents and is told through the eyes of the family's beloved dog.

Jennifer's writing is rooted in a love of history, character, and the quiet moments that shape a life. She is drawn to stories about women who find their footing in eras that gave them little room to stand, and to the bonds — between people, past and present — that endure across time.

When she is not writing, Jennifer can be found sipping strong coffee and editing a manuscript with a Goldendoodle by her side.
